I had really late times and was last but one to go throughout the phases, but when I went to the dressage to warm up I was the only one around apart from two finishing their tests. I was approached by the steward and told I was next to go! There was still 25 mins until my allocated time! With one arena packing up and the judge sitting waiting I felt pressured to get on with it! So we did! Milly was tense so not the best test, which is a shame as she has been going well lately. 32.5
SJ looked really small! Now this is either because it was an inviting course or we are now ready to jump bigger! An untidy round but an amazing clear! (We always get 4 or 8 faults).
XC again seemed easy. It was a beautiful course and the ground was perfect. It had me wishing I had entered the Novice as our 1st attempt at that level - one to mark for May (if Howick do a Novice Class?).
Blood glucose was a little high hovering 10- 13.1 mmol/L. But didn’t feel confident today to tinker with insulin doses too much. Still so so much better to pre- CGM days where it would be 16-26mmol/L!
We Finally got a British Eventing rosette!! We have never had one. It’s never been our day in all 3 phases and as much as it pains me to say this Milly is not easy! She gets me to do everything and it’s about time she thought for herself and actually helped me out and this is what my lovely people on the ground have been helping me out with lately - so thank you guys 😘
