Broadway BE. We had a great day at this event yesterday. We were 5th after the dressage, but an unfortunate 8 faults in the showjumping put a dampener on that! Wasn't sure if I really wanted to go XC as we hadn't really had that much practice since the beginning of July and this course was proving to be very influential. It was fully up to height and made use of the undulating land to challenge horse and rider. Fence 6 was a narrow hedge at the bottom of a v steep hill (the person pictured standing by the fence is 5'8"!) and was causing problems. Armed with this info I gave Milly the best chance of remaining balanced down the hill and she popped it! It was a super round for us. Great way to end the season. Thank you Becci Hadley for your fabulous dressage lessons, they really are the highlight of my week! British Dressage here we come! ...oh and reluctantly British Showjumping here we come!
